Tripoliven C.A. is a joint venture between equally shareholding Pequiven S.A., Valquímica S.A. and FMC Foret S.A.. It was founded in 1972 and started operations on June 1, 1977 at its facilities located in Morón, Edo. Carabobo, Venezuela.

Since its founding, Tripoliven core business is the manufacture of sodium polyphosphates for the detergent industry in particular and for the chemical industry in general.
In recent years it has diversified its products, now being able to offer the market fertilizers, animal feed supplements and industrial chemicals phosphate derivatives.

Tripoliven, C.A. has a single seat in Morón, Edo. Carabobo, Venezuela. At this site are held all production, administrative, service, supply and support operations for the manufacture and sales of products.
The company has five production plants in which different products are obtained based on the calcium phosphate present in the phosphate rock, the main raw material.

Phosphoric acid plant
The phosphoric acid plant produces phosphoric acid and gypsum from phosphate rock and sulfuric acid. The phosphoric acid in concentrations of 28 and 52 % P2O5 is mainly produced for domestic consumption, but also can provide bulk to external customers.

The plant will produce sodium polyphosphates , using as raw material 28 % P2O5 phosphoric acid and sodium carbonate which may optionally be substituted for sodium hydroxide.
The main product is sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) for the detergent industry, but is also used in the manufacture of ceramics, in the formulation of compounds for water treatment and in industrial textile bleaching processes.

The TPF to the detergent industry are classified according to their rate of hydration Phase II, Phase I, medium Phase I or high Phase I.
As agreed with customers polyphosphates may occur:

  • In plastic bags of 25 kg capacity sack holders contained in big bags of 48 bags.
  • In big bags of 1250 kg.
  • Bulk - In tanks cisterns of nominal capacity 30 MT.

Urea phosphate plant produces crystals liquor urea phosphate and urea phosphate from 52% P2O5 phosphoric acid and urea.
Urea phosphate crystals are available in the market as NP -soluble fertilizer and feed supplement. These products come in plastic bags of 25 kg sack holders contained in big bags of 48 bags.

The plant uses gypsum as the main raw material gypsum produced in the phosphoric acid plant. This cast is subjected to different drying optional operations, liquor mixed with phosphate urea granulation or other liquids and plasters to offer different features for applications such as soil fertilizer and gypsum powder.

This plant consists of different mixing and drying operations that make it suitable for the production of compound fertilizer phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium, calcium and sulfur, as well as animal feed supplements. Its products are bagged.
